I'm Lotus a free spirit mama and social entrepreneur (purposepreneur) with experience facilitating transformation in every sector.
I started working with non-profits in 2000 and quickly saw how the competition paradigm was dividing and disempowering the positive change movement.
My work ever since has focused on unifying people in resonant fields of collective action through cross-sector collaboration, co-creative leadership development and dynamic social technologies supporting personal and collective evolution.
I see the Parabuilding platform as an amazing opportunity for people to support one another in actualizing each person's unique purpose in co-creating a world that works for all.
We're uplifting grassroots leaders to increase connection, exposure and support.
MY GIFT IS FACILITATION
It's all about community healing
I did a vision mapping process while finishing my city planning degree in 2007 and discovered my unique passion for community healing...
Since then, I've trained with world-renowned facilitators, gotten certified in shamanic dance, integral psychology and coaching, and completed a masters in co-creative leadership.
In 2015, I developed a practice called "Sacred Synergy" and built a volunteer team through Parabuilding to introduce this practice to resonant communities across North America on the Sacred Synergy Activation Tour.
I've catalyzed transformation with hundreds of visionaries, healers, teachers, artists, small business owners, government officials, youth from kindergarten to gangs, and every client has a similar need...
We all need help, and most don't feel the beliefs, systems and structures we've grown up with are supporting our full potential personally or collectively.
In response to this, I've cultivated multiple forms of conscious development support focused on the human elements of right relationship to self, other, the planet and prosperity.
Listening and being heard from essence
Council practice engages people inside and out.
It's an ancient practice, the peacemaker way, which has been all but lost in our ego-dominated society.
Tapping into Collective Intelligence
In 2007, I worked with the Tomorrow Makers in developing something we called "The Livability Mapping Process." This process engaged leaders and stakeholders in identifying a community's assets and needs.
Since then, I've customized this dynamic engagement process for diverse groups including festivals, schools, local government, non-profits and intentional communities.
In 2001, I discovered Permaculture in the context of Bill Mollison's holistic perspective.
I was drawn to the human impact, the social permaculture where polycutlures based on the principles of mutual upliftment, biodynamic relationships, synergy and alchemy abound.
My first application of it was a women's group I founded called Gaia's Angels where I experimented with exercises from an intuitive life coaching training I was in. We worked with the elements, and shared life visions which turned out to be overlapping dreams amplified in our collective resonance.
We pioneered Social Permaculture in action with the core Living Mandala team (Jay Ma, Myself, Keala and Julie Bird pictured on retreat in Shasta in 2009 and on Hawaii at the firs Aloha Aina Course at the Resonance Project in 2008)
Facilitating co-creative guilds has been one of my greatest passions, both in bringing people together in resonant efforts sort of as a mama of the collective ~ also invoking a culture of transformation through deeply connecting team building and next-level collaborations.
After a decade of spiraling in and out of projects and community, Jay Ma, Hannah Apricot and I are teaming up with a powerful global team interviewing people from the front lines of paradigm shift.
Launching Spring 2016, Pulse of the Movement is a webcast series through Empowerment Works in support of the Global Summit in Brazil later this year.
Hannah's co-publisher for Permaculture North America Magazine, and Jay leads Living Mandala and Permaculture Convergence North America.
We have over 100 hours of footage from interviews, councils, workshops, festivals and other cultural moments from across the continent.
